This 2D pixel game, the protagonist is a 13-year-old boy who fell into a deep coma after his hometown was bombed, and his consciousness entered another world, a world full of tombs and ruins. He has to find his younger brother and bring him home. When he finally defeated the boss, he found that the musician boss was his younger brother who loved the violin. His brother asked him to hurry back to the real world. At this time, the protagonist finally woke up and found himself in a hospital. He realized that his younger brother had already been buried under the ruins. My inspiration came from the turbulent international situation in recent years. Many children have lost their stable lives and even their families because of war. I want to create a game that can arouse players' sympathy for these children and their desire for peace.

Character




The inspiration for the character came from subcultural youth images. At the same time, I found that the clothes on the protagonist were mostly black. If the character is placed in a darker environment, the character is not obvious. Therefore, I chose to add a fluorescent pink border around the black hat and clothes when designing the pixel character image, which made the character more obvious. When creating the character's movements, I designed standby, running, walking, death, defense, and sliding. The attack actions are divided into horizontal kick, round kick, and sweeping leg.
